Space Marines Miniatures (2020)

Many of these models are from the Dark Imperium starter set, I painted the Death Guard, and Peyton painted the Space Marine half… until he realized painting minis wasn’t his thing and I finished these models. I practiced some layering and edge highlighting with this team, trying to get the “cleanest” look I could manage.

The gang

1. Look how crisp this model is! I’m super happy with it.

3. The box we had didn’t really give any Marines fun gear, so I chopped off a bit of an unused Death Guard plasma gun and stuck it on this model. Lucky for me, the official sculpts for “combi-plasmas” are the exact same thing, so this wonky gun is suprisingly legit.

5. Another minor conversion - the front half of this gun is from a fancier gun one of the jetpack models in this box. Plus some guitar wire, and boom, thats a “Heavy Bolter”.
