Gaslands (2023-2024)

back

Gaslands is a Mad-Max-inspired wargame that intends for you to buy cheap hotwheels and glue on spare warhammer bits, which is exactly what I did! I really enjoy(ed) the freedom of building my own stuff, and the rules for Gaslands are a lot more straightforward/accessible/fun than Warhammer. Genuinely, if these models look cool to you I highly reccomend picking up a copy of the rules. At the time of writing, “Gaslands: Refuled” is the current edition.

gaslands1 1. This is Sunshine. I had so much fun building her headgear and sniper tower. I had a fantastic weekend of being snowed in and building/playing Gaslands that produced many such gems as this.

gaslands2 2. First car I made, that’s a gun from a T’au stealthsuit on top, for anyone who wants full credit on the kitbashing trivia pop quiz that you’ll have to take at the end of this website.

gaslands3 3. Reis made this one (and used all of my dang resin skulls in the proccess! I’ll never forgive you!!!!!)

gaslands4 4. Wonderful reminder to watch my Gaslands stop motion short film if you haven’t seen it!

gaslands6 6. All these drivers and gunners you see are resin bits I ordered online. I could have 3D printed them in theory, but I never got around to bringing my printer to my apartment when I was in my Gaslands phase.

gaslands7 7. Katrina painted this one! I feel like any time I was showing my friends/coworkers Gaslands this was the car everyone grabbed dibs on first.

gaslands10 10. I don’t know why I took a picture at such a poor angle; if you can’t tell, this car has a bunch of spare Warhammer arms holding pistols glued on the windows.

gaslands11 11. Now this is podracing Gaslands. Totally scratch built, no toy car used as a base. I got the idea from “Bead Bots” I had seen on various hobby Youtube channels.
